
ALABAMA — A 42-year-old man from Eclectic was killed Saturday evening in a single-vehicle crash in Elmore County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
State troopers said the crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Alabama 9 near mile marker 139, approximately two miles south of Eclectic.
Authorities said the driver, identified as Anthony J. Patrick, was traveling along the roadway when his vehicle left the road, struck a fence, and overturned.
First responders arrived at the scene and pronounced Patrick dead.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said the cause of the crash remains under investigation. No additional details were immediately released.
