OHIO — A Toledo woman was killed and three other people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in southwestern Lucas County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the crash occurred around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Bailey and Jeffers roads in Providence Township. A 68-year-old man from Utah was driving an SUV with a 60-year-old Utah resident and 90-year-old Betty Manworren of Toledo as passengers. Investigators said the SUV stopped at a stop sign but failed to yield while pulling into the intersection.

A minivan driven by a 39-year-old woman from Whitehouse was traveling north on Jeffers Road when the two vehicles collided. Both vehicles traveled off the roadway following the impact, according to troopers.

Manworren was transported to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The SUV driver and the other passenger suffered critical injuries. The minivan driver was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

No charges have been filed, and the crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
