SOUTH CAROLINA — A woman was killed in a stabbing early Monday morning at an apartment complex in Dillon County, according to Coroner Donnie Grimsley.
The incident occurred just before 1 a.m. at the Sunflower Apartments on the 1600 block of McNeil Street.
Multiple police officers responded to the scene and remained there for several hours, neighbors said.
Grimsley confirmed that a suspect is in custody in connection with the fatal stabbing. The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
