OHIO — A 25-year-old man is dead following a stabbing Wednesday night in Bedford, according to police.
Officers with the Bedford Police Department were dispatched around 8:03 p.m. April 1 to a reported disturbance in the 200 block of Union Street. While en route, officers were informed that a man had been stabbed.
Upon arrival, police located a man suffering from a stab wound inside a bedroom. Officers performed CPR and other life-saving measures, but the victim, identified as 25-year-old Tyreake Woods, died from his injuries.
Police said a suspect was arrested and interviewed. As of now, no charges have been filed.
The investigation remains ongoing, and officials said additional information will be released as it becomes available.
