OHIO — Police are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred early Friday morning in Cleveland’s West Boulevard neighborhood.
According to the Cleveland Division of Police, officers were called to the area of West 94th Street and Denison Avenue just before 1 a.m. after reports of a stabbing. When officers arrived, they found a 31-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Officers provided first aid until emergency medical services arrived. The victim was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Ty’Rell K. Small, 31.
The Cleveland Police Homicide Unit is leading the investigation. No suspects or additional details were released as of Friday morning.
