NORTH CAROLINA — One person died following a stabbing early Sunday morning in Fayetteville, according to police.
Officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded just before 4 a.m. to a report of a stabbing at a Circle K gas station on Cliffdale Road. When officers arrived, they found a man in the parking lot suffering from a stab wound.
The victim was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he later died. Police have not released the man’s name.
Authorities have not provided information about a possible suspect or what led up to the incident. The investigation remains ongoing.
