GEORGIA — A police investigation is underway after a man was found dead outside a Bojangles restaurant in Palmetto on Sunday. Officers were called to the business at 9135 Roosevelt Highway around 1:15 p.m., where they discovered the victim in the parking lot.
According to investigators, the victim and another man had been involved in a fight before the shooting occurred. Police confirmed that a suspect is now in custody.
Authorities have not yet released the names of those involved, stating they are waiting to notify the victim’s family. However, relatives at the scene identified the man who was killed as Dominique Goodman.
The investigation remains active as police continue gathering information.
