FLORIDA — Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Sunday night near Interstate 95 in Boynton Beach, according to authorities.
The Boynton Beach Police Department said the shooting happened just before 10 p.m. near Gateway Boulevard and the 2000 block of Northwest 2nd Street.
Officers responded to the scene and located a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital, where he later died.
Authorities have not released the victim’s identity.
Police also said no information about a suspect has been made available.
The investigation remains ongoing, and officials said additional details will be released as they become available.
