WISCONSIN — A 40-year-old person is dead following a late-night shooting in Milwaukee, according to the Milwaukee Police Department.
Police said the shooting occurred just before midnight Saturday, April 4, near the intersection of Fond du Lac Avenue and Armitage Avenue.
Authorities said the victim was shot in the area and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said they are searching for the person or persons responsible.
