
VIRGINIA — A man was found dead Tuesday evening after being shot in Richmond’s East End, according to the Richmond Police Department.
Officers were called at 7:07 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 16, to the 2300 block of Fairfield Avenue following a report of a person down. When officers arrived, they found an unresponsive man with apparent gunshot wounds, police said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.
