VIRGINIA — A man is dead following a shooting late Thursday night on the Southside of Richmond, according to the Richmond Police Department.
Officers responded to the 3800 block of Midlothian Turnpike at 10:18 p.m. on May 15 after receiving a report of a person shot.
When they arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
This incident was one of several acts of violence in Richmond’s Southside that evening, including another deadly shooting that left a man dead and a woman injured, as well as a separate stabbing that injured another man earlier in the day.
