TEXAS — Dallas police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Wednesday afternoon in North Dallas.
Officers responded around 2:15 p.m. to the 14700 block of Preston Road, where they found a person who had been shot. According to police, a preliminary investigation determined the victim was shot by an unknown suspect.
Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the victim, but the person later died from their injuries. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity, and no information about a suspect has been provided.
The investigation remains ongoing.
