TENNESSEE — Police have identified the man who was shot and killed in Clarksville on Monday evening.
According to the Clarksville Police Department, the victim has been identified as Robert Agee, 39.
Police said homicide detectives and other investigative units worked through the night collecting evidence and following leads related to the shooting. Authorities did not release additional details about where or how the shooting occurred.
“This remains an active and ongoing investigation,” the Clarksville Police Department said in a statement. “Due to the complexity of the case and to protect the integrity of the investigative process, no additional information is available for release at this time.”
Police said they believe there is no ongoing threat to the public and that the incident appears to be isolated.
