SOUTH CAROLINA — A 17-year-old boy died early Saturday morning after being shot, according to the Horry County Coroner’s Office.
Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard identified the victim as Jamarion Jackson. He was pronounced dead at 3:30 a.m. on July 5.
Willard said Jackson had been shot and was driven home from a location believed to be in the Longs area before he died.
The Horry County Police Department is investigating the shooting.
