SOUTH CAROLINA — A shooting in Beaufort Monday night left one person dead, according to the Beaufort Police Department.
Officers responded to 330 Robert Smalls Parkway around 8:53 p.m. after reports of shots fired. When they arrived, they found a victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers provided aid until EMS arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital, where the individual later died from their injuries.
Police said the case remains under active investigation.
