PENNSYLVANIA — Police are investigating after a man was found shot multiple times in the back early Saturday morning in Pittsburgh’s Northview Heights neighborhood.
Officers responded to a four-round ShotSpotter alert just before 1 a.m. in the 100 block of Hazlett Street.
Upon arrival, they found a man inside a home with multiple gunshot wounds to his back. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as 38-year-old Laron Harrison.
Detectives from the Pittsburgh Police Violent Crime Unit are investigating the incident.
