PENNSYLVANIA — A woman was found shot to death inside an apartment building in Wilkins Township early Monday morning, according to Allegheny County police.
Officers responded just after 3 a.m. to the Brentmoor at Penn Center apartment complex in the 1100 block of Penn Center Boulevard. When first responders arrived, they found a woman unresponsive inside an apartment. Police said she had suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators have not released the woman’s identity.
Authorities have not provided details about what led up to the shooting. When asked about potential suspects, a police spokesperson said that “everyone involved in the incident is accounted for and the investigation is ongoing.”
