
PENNSYLVANIA — Indianapolis police are investigating a Thanksgiving morning shooting that left one person dead and another critically injured on the city’s east side.
IMPD officers were called around 10:30 a.m. to the 3700 block of Audubon Road, near 38th Street and North Arlington Avenue, on a report of a person shot. When officers arrived, they found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The second was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
According to online dispatch records, the Indianapolis Fire Department also responded to the same location at the same time for a reported residence fire. Authorities have not said whether the fire is connected to the shooting.
