OHIO — A man is dead following an early-morning shooting in Cincinnati’s Hartwell neighborhood, according to authorities.
Police responded to a report of a shooting shortly before 4 a.m. Friday along De Camp Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot in front of a driveway.
The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office was called to the scene about 30 minutes later. According to the coroner’s report, the victim, a 40-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A large police presence remained in the area as investigators worked to gather evidence.
No information has been released about a suspect or what led to the shooting.
