OHIO — One person is dead and another is hospitalized following a shooting Sunday morning in Middletown, according to police.
Officers with the Middletown Police Department responded to the 2100 block of Roosevelt Avenue at approximately 11:58 a.m. after receiving reports of gunfire.
When officers arrived, they found two victims at the scene. One person was pronounced dead at the location. The second victim was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities are asking residents in the Roosevelt Avenue area to review any home surveillance footage that may show suspicious individuals or vehicles in the vicinity around the time of the shooting.
