OHIO — A 29-year-old Hispanic man was killed in a shooting early Sunday morning in the Mt. Airy neighborhood, according to Cincinnati police.
Officers were called to the 5000 block of Hawaiian Terrace around 4 a.m. and found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Police and Cincinnati Fire Department crews attempted life-saving measures, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said communication has been somewhat complicated due to a language barrier in the predominantly Hispanic neighborhood, but witnesses are cooperating with police.
No suspect has been identified at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
