OHIO — One person was killed in a shooting in Franklinton early Sunday morning, according to a Columbus public safety dispatcher.
Emergency crews were called to a home in the 100 block of Hayden Avenue, near North Central Avenue, around 12:30 a.m. on reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
The individual was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition and was later pronounced dead.
Authorities have not released information about a suspect, and it remains unclear what led to the shooting.
