OHIO — A shooting in northeast Columbus early Sunday morning left one person dead and another injured, according to city public safety officials.
Police said officers were called to the 700 block of Stelzer Road, near East 7th Avenue, around 3:30 a.m. on a report of gunfire. When they arrived, they found two people with gunshot wounds.
Both victims were transported to Grant Medical Center. One was pronounced dead shortly after 4 a.m., while the other was listed in stable condition, authorities said.
No details have been released about a possible suspect or what may have led to the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
