OHIO — A man was killed and another injured in a shooting early Saturday in north Toledo, according to police.
Officers responded to the 600 block of E. Central Avenue around 12:49 a.m. for a report of a person shot. They found 31-year-old Leonel Avila Rodriguez outside with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second victim, whose name has not been released, suffered a minor injury.
Police are investigating Rodriguez’s death as a homicide. No information about possible suspects has been released.
