OHIO — A 12-year-old boy is dead and another person injured after a late-night shooting Sunday in the Winton Hills neighborhood. Cincinnati Police have charged a suspect with murder.
Officers responded just before midnight to Este Avenue after receiving a report of a stolen vehicle that had crashed. When they arrived, they found a juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim, identified as 12-year-old Nehemiah McMillion, was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
Police have charged 31-year-old Darius McGrew with murder in connection with McMillion’s death.
Another individual was also injured in the shooting, though their condition has not been released.
