OHIO — One person is dead following a shooting that began at an apartment complex and ended outside a Target store on Columbus’ north side, according to police.
Officers responded to the Target parking lot on Polaris Parkway on Wednesday, where they found a victim inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound. The individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators believe the victim may have been involved in an altercation at a nearby apartment complex before being shot.
Authorities say the suspect then allegedly drove the victim into a wooded area near the Target parking lot.
The incident remains under investigation. No arrests have been announced.
