OHIO — One person is dead and three others were injured following a shooting in the parking lot of a Middletown bar early Monday morning, according to police.
The shooting was reported at 2:46 a.m., prompting a response from Middletown officers and EMS to the scene.
When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot.
During the investigation, authorities learned that two additional victims had arrived at a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds believed to be from the same incident.
One of the four victims later died from their injuries. Their identity has not yet been released. The conditions of the other three individuals have not been confirmed.
Police have not released any suspect information, and the motive for the shooting remains unknown.
