OHIO — One man is dead and another person was injured following a shooting in Walnut Hills late Saturday night, according to Cincinnati police.
The shooting occurred just before midnight on Lincoln Avenue near the intersection with Melrose Avenue.
Police identified the victim as 35-year-old Torell Hemphill. He was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and later died at the hospital.
A second person sustained minor injuries after being grazed by a bullet. First responders treated the individual at the scene.
Authorities have not released any suspect information, and it remains unclear what led to the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing.
