NORTH CAROLINA — A 16-year-old was shot and killed Friday night in Winston-Salem, according to police.
Officers responded to the scene on Berl Street, near the intersection of Old Walkertown Road and Carver School Road, around 7:45 p.m. There, they found the teen with gunshot wounds.
Investigators said the victim died at the scene from their injuries.
No information about a suspect has been released. The investigation is ongoing.
