NORTH CAROLINA — Homicide detectives with the Greensboro Police Department are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Sunday evening.
Officers responded around 7:48 p.m. to a disorder call on the 1500 block of Upland Drive.
Upon arrival, they found 27-year-old Joaquin Gabriel Hernandez with an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
Hernandez was transported to a local hospital by emergency medical services but died from his injuries later Sunday night.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
