
MARYLAND — A man was killed in a shooting Friday night in Rockville, and authorities are investigating the case as a homicide.
According to the Montgomery County Police Department, officers were called around 10:20 p.m. to the 12900 block of Twinbrook Parkway for reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the shooting is being investigated as a homicide. No suspects are currently in custody.
Detectives with the department’s Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and are continuing to gather information. Authorities said they are awaiting a formal homicide report.
No additional details, including the victim’s identity, have been released at this time.
