MARYLAND — Baltimore police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred overnight outside a Royal Farms convenience store near the Horseshoe Casino.
The shooting happened in the parking lot off Russell Street, where officers found multiple shell casings scattered across the area.
Evidence markers were visible at the scene earlier in the morning but have since been removed. Russell Street was closed temporarily during the investigation but has since reopened.
Police said a 26-year-old man was taken to Shock Trauma after being shot. He was later pronounced dead. Investigators say there may be additional victims, though no further details have been released.
The shooting remains under investigation, and police have not announced any arrests.
