KENTUCKY — A man was shot and killed Friday night in Louisville’s Jacobs neighborhood, and police are searching for the suspect, officials said.
Louisville Metro Police responded to the 3700 block of East Wheatmore Drive around 10:30 p.m. after reports of gunfire, LMPD spokesperson John Bradley said in a statement.
The location is near March Boulevard and Manslick Road, close to the Manslick Road Cemetery.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The LMPD Homicide Unit is handling the investigation. No suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made.
