
KENTUCKY — A man was killed Friday afternoon in a shooting in the Parkland neighborhood, according to Louisville Metro Police.
Officers from LMPD’s Second Division were called around 3:07 p.m. to the 1400 block of Catalpa Street for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found an adult man inside a residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police provided first aid until Louisville Fire and EMS arrived, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
LMPD’s Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting and working to determine what happened and whether a motive has been identified. No suspects have been named.
