INDIANA — A woman was killed in a shooting on the city’s west side Saturday night, according to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police.

Officers responded to a report of a person shot around 8:15 p.m. on May 3 near the intersection of Chadbourne Drive and West St. Clair Street, close to West 10th Street and North Girls School Road.

When they arrived, they found an adult female inside a car suffering from a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
