INDIANA — A man is dead and a woman remains in critical condition following a double shooting on the east side of Indianapolis Sunday evening.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of gunfire around 6:49 p.m. in the 500 block of North Parker Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found a male and a female suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both victims were transported to the hospital in critical condition. Later, police confirmed the male victim had died from his injuries. His identity has not yet been released.
No arrests have been made, and police have not identified any suspects.
The investigation is ongoing.
