INDIANA — A person was found shot to death Sunday afternoon on the city’s far east side, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Officers responded to a report of a person shot around 2 p.m. at 4248 Ponza Court.
When they arrived, they found a victim with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
The individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.
