INDIANA — A juvenile male was shot and killed early Sunday morning on the near northeast side of Indianapolis, police said.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called at 2:43 a.m. to The Grounds apartment complex near Central Avenue and 22nd Street on a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found the juvenile inside a fourth-floor apartment suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
IMPD has not released the victim’s identity. The investigation is ongoing.
