GEORGIA — One person is dead following a shooting late Wednesday in Albany, according to officials.
Michael Fowler confirmed the fatality and said the shooting occurred March 25 in the parking lot of the Royal Inn, located in the 800 block of West Highland Avenue.
Authorities said the victim is a male, but his identity has not yet been confirmed. Officials also said the victim’s age remains unknown at this time.
No additional details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting have been released.
Law enforcement officials continue to investigate the incident.
