GEORGIA — Police are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred on Victory Drive in Savannah.
According to the Savannah Police Department, the shooting happened in the 1800 block of Victory Drive.
A news crew observed a parking lot taped off with multiple police vehicles at the scene as investigators worked the area.
Police said one person was killed in the incident. Another person has been detained.
Authorities have not released a motive or additional details about what led up to the shooting.
The investigation remains ongoing.
