FLORIDA — A man was killed Monday night following a shooting in Brevard County, according to the Cocoa Police Department.
Officers said the shooting occurred around 11 p.m. on Flower Mound Lane in Cocoa. Police were later notified by a local hospital that a man had died from gunshot wounds.
One person has been detained in connection with the incident, authorities said.
The investigation remains ongoing.
