FLORIDA — A man has died following an early morning shooting in Indian River County, according to authorities.
The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office said the shooting occurred along 64th Avenue near the intersection with 85th Street in the Wabasso area.
Investigators said the victim, described as a Black male, was transported to a hospital after the shooting, where he later died. His identity has not been released.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident, officials said.
The sheriff’s office continues to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities.
