FLORIDA — Deputies are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Tuesday morning on International Drive in Orange County, according to authorities.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said the shooting was reported around 2:45 a.m. in the 11900 block of International Drive South.
Fire rescue crews responded and found a woman in her 40s suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to a hospital, where she later died.
Officials have not released the victim’s identity.
No additional details about a suspect or what led to the shooting have been made public.
The investigation remains ongoing.
