TENNESSEE — Police are searching for a suspect following a deadly shooting at a motel on McGavock Pike in Nashville, according to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.
Authorities said the victim, identified as Sharif Keller, was shot and killed after getting into an argument with another man at the motel.
Witnesses told police they heard a gunshot after the dispute between the two individuals.
Investigators said Keller and the suspected shooter were staying in separate rooms at the motel.
The suspect fled the scene and remains at large as officers work to identify and locate him.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
