OHIO — A 31-year-old man is dead following a shooting early Thursday morning at a bar in Akron, according to police.

Officers responded to a call at Old Glory Daze on Old Main Street around 2:30 a.m. and found two men, ages 31 and 44, suffering from gunshot wounds.

According to a preliminary investigation, the incident began in the bar’s parking lot when the younger man approached the older man and opened fire.

The 44-year-old victim then retreated into the bar, where he collapsed.
