OHIO — A 16-year-old boy died Thursday night after being shot in an apartment in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood, according to the Cincinnati Police Department.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1300 block of Vine Street.
When they arrived, they found the victim with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Rasheed Mills, 16.
Police said the suspect fled the scene. No suspect description has been released, and the investigation is ongoing.
