OHIO — A 64-year-old man was killed in a rollover crash Friday evening in Brown County, according to authorities.

Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol said the crash occurred around 4:18 p.m. on State Route 32 near milepost 6.

Investigators said a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Douglas Srofe, 64, of Williamsburg, traveled off the right side of the roadway and went through a fence along the right-of-way. The vehicle continued through a field before striking a tree and overturning.

Srofe was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
