INDIANA — A Waterloo man died Saturday afternoon when the off-road vehicle he was driving overturned in northern Allen County, according to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
The crash occurred just before 3 p.m. on property near the 400 block of West Gump Road. Investigators said 42-year-old Paul Ream was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. A juvenile passenger sustained minor injuries and was treated by medics on site.
Authorities reported that neither occupant was wearing a helmet or safety harness at the time of the crash.
Indiana Conservation Officers were assisted in the investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana State Police, the Huntertown Fire Department, and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
