VIRGINIA — A motorcyclist has died following a head-on crash in Chesterfield County on Thursday, June 19. The crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. in the 3600 block of W. Hundred Road.
According to the Chesterfield County Police Department, a Dodge Caliber was traveling east on W. Hundred Road when it crossed the center line and struck a motorcycle head-on.
The motorcyclist, identified as 29-year-old Christopher D. Harding, Jr., was rushed to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries on Friday, June 20.
The driver of the Dodge Caliber, 56-year-old Bradford G. Jordan, was arrested at the scene and charged with driving under the influence.
Police said additional charges are pending as the investigation continues. Jordan is currently being held at the Chesterfield County Jail.
