TEXAS — One person is dead following a crash involving a motorcycle and a van Saturday afternoon in Houston’s Astrodome area.
Police said the crash was reported around 4:30 p.m. on Almeda Road near Hepburn Street.
Authorities said the collision involved a van and a motorcycle. One person died as a result of the crash. Officials have not released the identity of the victim.
Additional details about how the crash occurred or whether anyone else was injured were not immediately available.
The incident remains under investigation by the Houston Police Department.
